Education is a relationship between teaching and learning and between teachers and learners. The educational environment is a major key in the promotion of readiness to learn. Whether in formal academic, community, organizational or informal settings, I create spaces - live, virtual, spiritual, psychological, and physical- that encourage the emergence and creative application of participants' strengths, skills, intuition, and intelligence in new ways.

Everyone has a history and stories to tell. I enjoy offering live, story-based community experiences for mothers, families, and those who care for others — gatherings that invite people to reconnect with self-care rooted in the kitchen, the garden, the body, and lived experience.

A Unique Offering for the 21st Century:

One of the most interactive educational experiences is the world cafe. I have facilitated the design of fully customized world cafes in communities and organizations around the world. For a powerful event synthesis experience, I offer improvisational poetry in the form of Poetic Endnotes that captures the meaning of the learning experiences expressed by participants and facilitators. 

 

My work speaks to people who sense that something essential may becoming lost in today's culture of rapid industrialization: such as our capacity to communicate, connect with, and care for ourselves and one another day by day.
