Integrative Psychotherapy

Dr. Martha Mathews Libster

Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, Ph.D.APRN-CNS, APHN-BC

I offer holistic health counseling, psychotherapy, and Gentle Remedies self-care resources and support. My primary focus is families with young children who are suffering from behavior, communication, family, or school changes and challenges. I also help teens and adults seeking holistic psychotherapy.

Sessions include solution-focused psychotherapy techniques that keep you moving toward personal and family wellness goals. All services include

culturally sensitive counseling, home remedies, mindfulness stress-reduction, education about the energetics of foods, traditional Chinese and western

herbal medicine, and health decision making support. Tough problems and family crisis are most welcome. Telehealth services available for established clients.

My specialty is helping infants and young children, in partnership with their parents and caregivers, pregnancy-age 5. Feeding or behavior concerns, adoption, preemies, gifted (fast learners), communication problems: tantrums, hitting or biting. I see adults with issues related to early childhood and who prefer holistic psychotherapy with herbal remedies.

In Child-Parent Psychotherapy I use movement and play therapy, such as puppets. I specialize in non-pharmacological care in young children and simple, effective home care remedies with herbs that advance behavioral change. I consult on decisions about medical marijuana as well as other herbal remedies, dietary supplements, and complementary therapies. I also consult in legal matters involving young children.
